Global Markets Review is moving its analyst-ratings franchise from terminology and methodology into dated event tables. The first rule is intentionally strict: an upgrade requires a more positive recommendation. A higher price target with an unchanged rating is not counted.

The table below uses publicly reported analyst-action summaries. Where the underlying brokerage note is not public, GMR describes the action as publicly reported rather than implying access to proprietary research.

Lineage: Equal Weight to Overweight

Morgan Stanley upgraded Lineage to Overweight from Equal Weight on 9 September, with a $47 target in the public report. That qualifies as a recommendation upgrade because the brokerage changed its stance rather than merely changing valuation output.

GMR keeps the price target as context, not as a substitute for the recommendation change.

Airbnb: Market Perform to Outperform

Raymond James upgraded Airbnb to Outperform from Market Perform on 8 September and set a $200 target. The action is independently visible in several public analyst-history services, giving it a stronger verification trail than a single syndicated headline.

Baird also raised Airbnb's target from $175 to $200 while reiterating Outperform on the same date. That action belongs in the price-target table, not the upgrade table, because the rating did not change.

Why a small clean table is better than a large noisy feed

Analyst feeds can appear more comprehensive when they mix initiations, reiterated ratings and target moves together. That makes the event count bigger while making the data less useful.

GMR will expand the table as verified actions are added, preserving event date, brokerage wording, target context and public source. Historical events will remain queryable rather than disappearing when the next trading day begins.
